When I paint the Chromatics, my hand moves freely around the circle with broad brushes, almost like a Tai Chi body meditation. I work with multiple shades of yellow until something begins to vibrate within the colour — until I hear its inner hum, its tone. This is where seeing and hearing merge for me.
Yellow brings me into the light. It opens something in me — a sense of clarity, joy and inner expansion. I invite the viewer to come closer and stay with the colour. Not simply to look at yellow, but to enter its light and allow their own experience to unfold.
Within a room, Yellow creates a luminous, uplifting presence. It brings energy and openness into spaces where people arrive, meet or spend time together — a private salon, an entrance space, a hotel, an office or a meeting room.
This work was part of Sound of Colour, presented at the European Cultural Centre in Venice during the 2024 Venice Biennale.

GREEN
When I paint the Chromatics, my hand moves freely around the circle with broad brushes, almost like a Tai Chi body meditation. I work with multiple shades of green until something begins to vibrate within the colour — until I hear its inner hum, its tone. This is where seeing and hearing merge for me.
Green stands in the middle of everything — the still point. It emerges from the balance of light and darkness, sky and earth. For me, it centres, calms and connects. It is the colour of the heart, bringing me into harmony with myself and with others. I invite the viewer to come closer, to stay with the colour and allow their own experience to unfold.
Within a room, Green brings exactly this quality. It creates a centred, calming presence and a sense of connection. I see it in a private salon, an entrance space, a bedroom, a meditation room, but also in a meeting or conference room — where people come together and where a sense of balance, openness and connection can change how the space is felt.
